Amazing Grandpa Elliott
If you are lucky, a stroll down Royal Street will end in a free concert by one of the city’s most beloved street musicians. Grandpa Elliott, who scored his own set at Jazz Fest this year, has an ear for good music and a smile that will cure your hangover. You may have seen him on The Tonight Show or The Colbert Report, but nothing beats hearing his rendition of Amazing Grace live.
